About
Spike Jackson is a London-based photographer and retired NHS paramedic. Decades spent responding to the world at its most raw gave him an eye for the unrepeatable moment — a quality that now defines his travel, street, and landscape work.

In his own words
I came to photography through a life spent in motion. As a paramedic you learn to read a scene instantly — what matters, what doesn't, where to look. That instinct never left me when I picked up a camera.
Travel is where I do my best work. I'm drawn to places that are still becoming themselves — where the light is honest and the people haven't learned to pose for strangers yet.
I'm a published photographer with work placed through major agencies and commissions for organisations including the BBC, ICI, and the World Food Programme. Every assignment, however large or small, gets the same attention.
